Former Edo State Speaker Zakawanu Garuba Is Dead

Rt.Hon. Zakawanu Garuba, previous Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly is dead, a family source revealed.

As indicated by the source, who argued secrecy, the double cross individual from Edo Get together passed on of an undisclosed disease at an Abuja clinic on Saturday morning.

Conceived on 23 August 1965, in Akpekpe people group, Auchi, in Etsako West Local Government Area of the state, Garuba considered Law at the Obafemi Awolowo College, Ile-Ife, Osun State and was called to Bar in 1990.

He was chosen into the Edo State House of Assembly in 2003, on the foundation of the Peoples Democratic Party.

While in the House, he filled in as executive of the House board on legal executive, human rights, and legitimate issues. He became Speaker in 2007.

In the wake of bowing out from authoritative obligation, he was named into the Board of the Protections and Exchange Commission to fill in as the Executive Commissioner, Account and Administration.
