Governor Wike yesterday, had said that he won't become a Governor who after his tenure will go begging anyone to come to fix his village road come 2023. The Governor made this bold statement at the flag-off of the construction of the Rumuepirikom Flyover, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
Wike made a promise that every road in his community, will be completed and he is not forgetting any road. Speaking further he said Julius Berger must go back and complete all the internal roads in Rumueprikom and his community must also have street lights.
To his opponents, Governor Nyesom Wike had advised, that when they are coming to campaign in his community they should not come and say they will do roads for them. Furthermore, he finalized by saying that there will be no more roads to flag-off in his community by the time he steps down because he is doing every road now.
