The month of April has no doubt been a tough one for the nation of Nigeria, after the death of some of her prominent men. However, another popular Nigerian has given up the ghost today. Like I have said in the past, birth and death are two phase of life which everyone of us must pass through, even though the later is Something we fear. Just days ago, the spokesman for Afenifere, Mr. Odumakin and Mr. Innocent Chukwuma died. And now the Federal house of representatives has now lost one of their member.
Photos of Suleiman Aliyu...
According to reports, Mr, Suleiman Aliyu's death comes after about 11 federal lawmakers have died since the inauguration of the 9th assembly in 2019. However, the Lawmaker gave the ghost at the Barau Dikko Hospital in Kaduna, early this morning. The news which was confirmed by Suleiman Aliyu's relatives, Hassan Banaga and Murjanatu Garba, added that the deceased will be laid to rest at 3pm today.
Well, for those who didn't know Mr. Suleiman, the Lawmaker was sworn in by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, in March 2020 despite contesting for the seat in the 2019 general election. Personally, I feel pained whenever I hear about things like this. I pray the almighty grants him rest in his bossom.
Let's show our condolences below. And what do you think about the deaths this month? Leave a comment so I can know what you think. Thanks.
