Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has challenged his predecessors in the State to come out and swear thart they have never pilfered the state treasury. 

He said in an interview in Hausa monitored on a local TV and Radio station that his philosophy in governance was not to steal as he.was aware there would be a day of reckoning. 


Tinubu Supporters Caution PDP, LP Against Protests

Supporters of the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have cautioned leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) against further protests over the outcome of the February 25, polls, saying such will lead to a breakdown of law and order.

Tinubu’s supporters, under the umbrella of the “The Natives”, made this known on Monday during a demonstration against the continuous protests by the opposition and their supporters over the president-elect’s victory.

Buhari Breaks Silence On Cash Crunch Crisis - CBN, AGF Disobeying Supreme Court Orders

The Presidency has broken its silence on the cash crunch crisis facing the country in the past few weeks, following the Supreme Court Judgement allowing the N500 and N1000 old notes to circulate side by side with the new notes till December 3.

Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President broke the silence on behalf of his principal, on Monday, when he said the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has no reason not to comply with the Supreme Court Orders merely on the excuse that the president must issue a directive.

Buhari further carpeted the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, insisting it is wide off the mark to blame him (Buhari) for the current controversy over the cash scarcity, despite the Supreme Court judgement.


Mbaka Showers Spiritual Blessings On Abia PDP Governorship Candidate Ahiwe

The spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka on Sunday blessed the Abia State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Okey Ahiwe.

The renowned priest gave his blessing to Ahiwe at the adoration ground, Emene, Enugu State where the Abia PDP governorship candidate worshipped.

Ahiwe who is the front runner in the Abia guber race is a Knight of the Catholic Church and recently travelled to Enugu on Sunday to worship at the Adoration Ministry where Mbaka is the spiritual director.

Speaking during the release of blessings, Mbaka said that it is his duty as a spiritual father to bless anyone that so desires. He added that it shall be well with Ahiwe as long as his ambition is to better the welfare of the poor masses of Abia State.
