The APC presidential candidate, Tinubu has been announced as the president elect. On Thursday, he stated some things Nigeria needs in order for the country to develop. He also said that the honour of his victory is that he accepts every responsibility and he will bring solutions in solving the problems. He said he's not boasting because there is no room for such behaviour, he's saying the fact.
According to the news that was shared by Punch Newspaper on twitter, Tinubu was talking on the forthcoming governorship election and he said that Nigerians shouldn't vote base on religion, rather Nigeria needs competent individuals, not government of national unity.
Tinubu also dampened the hope of advocates of a government of national unity, saying competence is among the criteria in choosing a leader. He said that competence is bigger than government of national unity. He also emphasized that as we are preparing to cast our votes in the forthcoming governorship election, we shouldn't be bias or tribalistic.
Tinubu went further to say that he's committed to getting work done as the president elect and for the benefit of all the people. He said he's doing it for everyone including those that voted for him and those that didn't.
