The executive Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has reacted after he met with one of the aspirants for the Senate presidency, Godswill Akpabio.

Godswill Akpabio, a former Governor of Akwa Ibom state and Minister of Niger Delta Affairs is one of the leading aspirants for the apex seat in the red chamber of the national assembly. He has been endorsed by the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC and has been consulting widely since he declared his intention to lead the Senate in the 10th Assembly.

Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji said; "I received distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio and his team in Abuja last night. It was a pleasure hosting him and our Senators-elect from Ekiti State, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, Yemi Adaramodu and Cyril Fasuyi."
