It's no longer news that Hon. Ossy Prestige is dead. The highly respected and revered politician from Abiriba in Ohafia L.G.A died yesterday after a protracted illness.

According to Hon Ossey Facebook page, he suddenly reported sick some six months ago and was receiving specialist care in Europe where he was transferred after initial treatment in the United kingdom.

Before his died yesterday, there was a report that he was already dead in January 2021 but his media team made a post to regard the news as a fake.

Apart from politics, Hon. Ossy was a successful businessman. He was a seasoned Shipping Consultant, Maritime Services Provider, Customs Broker and Importer of diverse Merchandise, with businesses spanning across different sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Late Hon. Ossey Prestige had a philanthropic foundation named Prestige Ossy Foundation and The Favoured Initiatives whose works include Widows welfare, scholarship Awards, Free health care and more.

Hon. Ossy Prestige was a devoted Christain and member of the Presbyterian Church denomination who served God with all his heart and resources.

The handsome politician is survived by his wife Rotary Ann,Pastor Mrs Precious and five children.
