"Bandits Move Around With 100s Of Motorcycles & Yet Our Airforce Can't Detect Them"- Buba Galadima

Amidst the ongoing problems the country is facing, Buba Galadima, a renowned and outspoken politician, reacted to a lot of issues in an interview with Arise TV. Note that Buba Galadima is known for a shift in allegiance from Muhammedu Buhari during the 2015 Presidential election to Atiku Abubakar in 2019.

From his interview with Arise TV, Buba Galadima spoke about Insecurity, suspension of media laws, Calls for secession, Southern Presidency, amongst other things. Buba Galadima said he could support the southern presidency if there is a good candidate. He said according to the Nigerian constitution, everyone within the geographical location of the country is eligible to become Nigeria's president. Speaking further, Galadima said that Nigerians should look for the right person to do the job. Galadima said he's more interested in what the individuals would offer.

On the other hand, Buba Galadima condemned the move by the National Assembly to introduce the media law. He said the federal government has no business with regulating the media if they are propagating the truth. Furthermore, he said the media should be allowed to carry out their research.

In another part of the video, Galadima spoke about the insecurity challenges in the country. He said lives and properties aren't secure. He also said the media are not reporting many things that are happening in Adamawa state. Speaking further, he suggested that Insecurity can't be defeated without technology. He said the bandits move with hundreds of motorcycles, yet the airforce cannot locate them. Buba Galadima also suggested that state governors work with the local government to combat insecurity.

Speaking on the call for secession, Galadima said many people are agitating because they feel excluded. He said he's not against agitation, but it should not be done violently. He concluded by suggesting dialogues.
