The PDP said it was obvious that the embattled NDDC acting Managing Director collapsed under the weight and shame of overwhelming collective guilt brought on him by the exposure of massive corruption being perpetrated by NDDC officials and APC leaders. 

Since zoning of political offices has become the order of the day in Nigeria, an equitable consensus would follow that Southern Nigeria—the Igbo in particular—will produce the next president of the country, come 2023. The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has congratulated the first Military Governor of Oyo State, General David Medayese Jemibewon (retd), on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary today. Makinde, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, described Jemibewon as a trailblazer and an astute administrator whose landmark achievements subsist till date. Jemibewon was first appointed governor of the Western State and later first military governor of Oyo State between 1976 and 1978 following the creation of the state.
