Similarly, even though the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not publicly declare his intention to join the 2023 presidential race, his political moves however suggest that he make likely give the presidential seat a shot.

To this end, if what the National Secretary, APC Caretaker and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee, Senator John Akpanudoehede said turns out to be true, especially in regards to how the party's presidential candidate will emerge, then, it is safe to say that Tinubu has a brighter chance of emerging as the APC 2023 presidential candidate.

Akpanudoehede in a statement on Tuesday, had revealed that the APC will come up with a consensus and agreeable presidential candidate, that will fly its flag in 2023 when the appropriate time comes.

The APC scribe's statement reads in part: “After our congresses and the National Convention we will shock them (PDP) by bringing a consensus and an agreeable candidate that will fly the flag of the party come 2023.

Meanwhile, worthy of note is that the APC congresses is scheduled to commence on July 31.

Consequently, it will be recalled that just few days ago, a "secret" was let out of the bag by Senator Rufai Hanga, the founder and pioneer National Chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), who made a shocking revealation that there was an “implied agreement” that President Muhammadu Buhari would hand over power to Tinubu in 2023.

Hanga further explained that Tinubu would have left the APC after the first tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari, but he was allegedly kept back because of the said agreement.

To this end, when one considers the key role Tinubu played in the emergence of Buhari as president in the 2015 election, coupled with the remarks of Hanga regarding a said agreement that was made with Tinubu, it is safe to say that in reference to APC's scribe statement, the former Lagos State governor, seems to be in a good position to be chosen as APC presidential candidate through the planned consensus agreement.

Another major factor, that is likely to favour Tinubu in case he decides to run for president, is the resolution of the 17 southern governors who had declared that the South must produce the next president after the completion of President Buhari's tenure in 2023.

But in your thoughts, do you think Bola Tinubu would make a good President ?
