Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has warned secessionist groups like IPOB/MASSOB and people clamouring for Oodua Republic to sit down and have a rethink. He said this at a Ramadan Lecture in Marina area of Lagos state.

On social media, I've seen many cases of ignorant people calling for division and war in Nigeria, they believe the violent is the only way forward. However, this is not true, because Nigeria has not fully recovered from the effects of the civil war.
Remembering that people calling for Oodua Republic held their second rally in the South Western region of the country and some of them were arrested by Policemen. This shows that Nigeria frowns on the division of the country.

Even though we are facing security challenges like Kidnapping, Banditry and Terrorism, an Imam at the Ramadan Lecture says prayers is all we need as a nation.
”We are better together. I have nowhere I am going. Whoever has experienced war in the past will not pray for such. Nigeria will not seperate, it’s not acceptable to us. Our prayers is for prosperity and more wealth for the country,” Tinubu said.
War is hell, it's an experience no one should pray for. I'm urging everybody that thinks war is the way forward to have a rethink and not push this country into destruction.
