During the tenor of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, he welcomed two sons - in law. At first, it was Faith Sakwe, the first adopted daughter of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Barely one year after that event which took place on 12 April, 2014, another event took place. This time around for another of his adopted daughter, Inebharapu Paul.

She is also another adopted daughter of the former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. According to PM News, Inebharapu is actually Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's niece but was adopted by Jonathan as a daughter from childhood.

She got married to Simeon Onyemeachi on January 10, 2015. The ceremony was widely attended by lots of dignities including former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, government officials, notable clergyman like Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church, Pastor E.A Adeboye of Redeemed Christian Church of God and Pastor Paul Adafarasin of the House of Rock Church. The two couples are happily married and blessed with beautiful children.
