On Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari has taken to his twitters account to say that he is determined to get to the root of the problem undermining the development of the Niger Delta, in spite of the enormous national resources dedicated to this annually.
He also noted that he have made it clear to the National Assembly, the investigating and law enforcement agencies, to pursue better coordination in their work, so that the shared goal of ensuring sanity, transparency and accountability of dedicated funds can be achieved.
"Our determination to entrench transparency and accountability applies not only to the NDDC, but also to all other institutions of the Federal Government. We will not relent", he added.

Mr President your citizens careless about that because all the money you have recovered have not shown in terms of unemployment rate in Nigeria. None was use for infrastructures. People are hungry and yet you are talking about fighting corruption.
@Kenneth Iroro says commendable Mr President. Please start from somewhere. Impunity has eaten deep into the veins of our leaders and office holders to the extent an average Nigerian lives a pathetic life, loosing all hopes for a better Nigeria.
