' Election result was altered, Obi scored over 1Million votes in Lagos '- Afenifere Leader says

The Leader of Afenifere Group, Chief Ayo Adebanjo has claimed that Mr. Peter Obi CON, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) gathered over One Million (1,000,000) votes in Lagos State during the 2023 presidential election.

He made this known of recent while stressing that most political leaders in the country attained their office through rigging. He however criticized President Muhammadu Buhari of not fulfilling his promise of a free and fair electoral process.

He said: " The result in Lagos has not been released, the whole thing was mismanaged. We scored over one million votes in Lagos and they altered all the results that belonged to Obi and that is why they have not released it. Why are they reluctant to prove it? You can tell the marine that you won the election and all that. What do you expect Buhari to say? He himself came into office through a fraudulent election in 2015, he does not know justice. Presidency is a national matter, it is not about Yoruba and Igbo. Most of them came into the office through rigging. Out of all the governors, how many of them are fair?"
