Rich Political Experience and Formidable Structures

The duo of Sheriff and Akume have a rich experience in Politics, they have previously served as a Two-term Governor, Three-term Senator in their respective States. Meanwhile, Sheriff has previously served as a National Chairman of a major Political party, Thus he has the required knowledge of party Administration. While Akume who is Popularly known as the God Father of Benue Politics commands much relevance in the North-Central where he hails from.

Massive Endorsement from Party Stakeholders

Recently, Both Aspirants have been lobbying Party Stakeholders including Governors and other APC Leaders for Support ahead of the Convention. According to a report by Daily Post and Business Day, The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi and his Cross-River State Counterpart, Ben Ayade about a month ago endorsed Sheriff for the Top Position. Meanwhile, Akume has the backing of the Presidency and some APC Groups in the Northern Region.
