As 2023 Presidential Election draws near, a lot of people have been wondering who is capable to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari. Buhari who is currently in his second term in office will leave in 2023 and the prayer of most Nigerians is for a good man to emerge as President. We have seen people like Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Asiwaju Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) showing and declaring their interest for 2023 and the questions most Nigerians have asked is: "Are these men capable of taken Nigeria to a greater?", "Will the citizens have a good life when they come into office?".
While we await answers to those questions, a Human Right Activist, Deji Adeyanju has revealed what he will do if elected as President of Nigeria.
Deji Adeyanju who was part of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's campaign team took to his verified twitter page to declare that if he becomes the President of Nigeria, Government will never buy any official car for anyone and that if they cannot their private cars they should retire.
He also said that if given the chance to rule Nigeria for 8 Years, there will be no foreign trips to train anyone abroad and that House of Representatives and House of Senate members will not be given any car at all.
As simple as it may, the truth is that promises like these are difficult to fulfill and that is why most politicians forget their campaign promises after they have gotten the support of the masses to occupy government positions. Even some of his followers said that it is not possible to do all what he said in Nigeria, adding that power intoxicates.
Do you think what Adeyanju Deji said can be done like denying Senate and House of Reps members cars? Will you vote for Deji if he comes out in 2023?
