Buhari Son Can Never Be President-Giwa.

Senior pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has noted that President Muhammadu Buhari’s son can no longer dream of becoming Nigeria’s President due to the deeds of his father.

Giwa suggested that Buhari’s leadership pattern, which, according to him, has brought suffering to Nigerians, has shut the door against any of his family members being President in the future.

Buhari Is Taking Loans For Nigeria-APC.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has defended the decisions of President Muhammadu Buhari to borrow loans for Nigeria.

The APC explained that the loans are tied to specific infrastructural development projects across the country, adding that the projects will become the legacies of the current administration.

The APC’s submission was contained in a statement on Tuesday by its National Caretaker Committee Secretary, Senator James Akpanudoedehe in reaction to the position of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who had warned that Buhari’s excessive borrowing may plunge Nigeria into bankruptcy.

The House of Representatives has told Major -Gen. Farouk Yahaya, the newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, COAS, that Nigeria has been besieged by insecurity.

The House told Yahaya to end the threats of insurgency, banditry and other security challenges in Nigeria if confirmed by the National Assembly.

The charges were handed down to Yahaya during his screening and confirmation by the Joint House Committees on Defence and Army, chaired by Babajimi Benson, representing Ikorodu federal constituency of Lagos State and Abdulrazaq Namdas from Adamawa State.

The Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Jon Chol, has expressed the desire for the government of North Korea to enjoy closer ties with the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government.

Chol spoke through an interpreter at a meeting with the National Secretary of the APC, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, who stood in for the APC National Chairman, Governor Mai Mala Buni, in Abuja, on Tuesday.

Ogun Vows To Demolish Houses Harbouring Kidnappers.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has declared that his administration would demolish any property found harbouring kidnappers and other criminals in the state.

Abiodun, however, urged landlords in the state to ensure that they know their tenants well enough.He handed down the warning while speaking at the 11th Synod of the Diocese of Yewa, Anglican Communion, Ilaro.

Woman arrested on N2.6m fraud charge.

A woman Omolara Solanke, 46, has been arrested for allegedly defrauding a local council chair aspirant in Osun State.

The Nation gathered that Omolara and five others allegedly assured the 48-year-old aspirant Rasaq Salami of winning the election with the aid of some spiritual forces.

A source said that Salami was taken to Ekiti State where they allegedly took N2,680,000 but could not provide the spiritual materials promised.

Salami lodged a complaint with the anti-fraud unit of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ekiti State, which led to Solanke’s arrest,” the source said
