I am ready to apologise now - Rotimi Akeredolu
Rotimi Akeredolu, the incubent Governor of Ondo State has openly confessed that he is ready to apologise to those he might have offended since he assumed office.
It can be recalled that the state chapter of the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) has been in disarray for a while now.
While meeting with the reconciliation committee of the party led by the Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Bello in Akure, the state capital, he called on other aspirants to allow peace reign within the party and the state.
According to him, “We must allow for peace. Let us get all of us, the aspirants, to sign that whoever wins, others will support him.
Akeredolu then said he is ready to apologise if it would make peace reign in the state. He also urged party members and party leaders to do likewise, at least for peace to reign.
He then assured the party members that they will win the forth coming elections in the state.
