Ayo Fayose Reveals How The Emergence Of Tinubu Has Contributed To The Unity Of Nigeria

As the world continues to react to the outcome of the just concluded presidential elections that were conducted by the Professor Mahmud Yakubu-led Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the 25th of February, Mr. Ayo Fayose has recently revealed how the emergence of the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Asiwaju Tinubu has contributed to the unity of Nigeria.

While speaking during a live interview on the TVc News few minutes ago, Ayo Fayose said at the initial stage of the campaign, either Obi or Tinubu wanted presidency to return to the southern part of Nigeria. He also stated that he was grateful to the North for supporting and voting for the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu, thus allowing power to go to the South and promoting the unity of Nigeria.

However, he further stated that he didn't have much to say say about Tinubu because Nigerians have already voted their president-elect. He also said that Tinubu was one of the presidential candidates that received the most insults and verbal attacks but yet he was able to scale through.

In addition, he claimed that those protesting were just wasting their times because a president-elect has already been declared.

Quoting a statement released by Ayo Fayose, he said, "that was why I said I thank the North for allowing Nigeria to be united by the outcome of this election. By allowing the president-elect to come from the South. You see, our target originally was either Obi or Asiwaju."
