I Want To Run For President In 2023 – Prof Kingsley Moghalu

A 2019 presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), named Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, had made a statement on Tuesday, saying he will run for presidency again in 2023.

The Nigeria News Agency (NAN) reported that Mogalu, a former vice president of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), announced his departure from the YPP shortly after the 2019 presidential election and has also stopped guerrilla politics.

Mogalu stated that he has changed his mind to join active politics again. He we not run on the platform of YPP, but would later decide on what party to join.

Moghalu also said he would run on a four-point agenda with a code named ‘SWAG.’ which means Security for all Nigerians and Nigeria's Territory.

But he also said that if he's been elected, he would lead the government to a very capable Nigerian team across the country. Mogalu instructed the National Assembly to carry out electoral reforms required by law, as well as diaspora voting. 

Moghalu calls for the support of all our compatriots and point out the need for energy and support for young people, the middle class, entrepreneurs and compatriots in the diaspora. (NAN)
