The two things he did are:
President Muhammadu Buhari has asked world leaders to consider the outright cancellation of Nigeria's debt. This could be a great relief for the president, considering the fact that there are pending projects that Buhari needs to channel money to.
He will rather use the money he will use to pay the debt to make Nigeria better if the world leaders agrees to cancel the debt.
President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that he will go to any length to eliminate Boko Haram terrorists, particularly in the North-East.This means that there will be a tight war between the Nigerian government and Boko Haram if he comes back.
Buhari would like to fulfill his promise by making sure that the military kills the militants. This could make the security situation in Nigeria better.
