"The legacy I want to leave as Governor." - Wike

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has expressed delight at the speed and quality of work being carried out by Julius Berger PLC in parts of Port Harcourt. 

Governor Wike, who inspected the ongoing projects in some parts of the State told the newsmen what legacies means to him as a public servant.

Some of projects inspected by the active Rivers State Governor was the construction of the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly quaters, the ongoing urban renewal in the Government Residential Area and the Rebisi Flyover.

Governor Wike noted that he is very happy that numerous development projects are completed in different areas of the State, while some are ongoing despite the insurgence of COVID-19 pandemic.

Wike asked the Rivers people to be patience because they will see more development projects until the end of my tenure.

The Rivers State Governor also said that his aim is that he want to "be remembered by the quality of projects I provided for my people."

He added that legacy to him is by quality works someone did when given the opportunity to manage resources, according to him, his legacy will be that he did great and quality works across the State.

He urged Rivers people to be patient as Julius Berger is set to finish the ongoing Flyovers and more infrastructure projects would be carried out across the state.
