Pictures: Obi Campaigns For Patrick Dakum, LP Governorship Candidate In Plateau

Three days to the governorship and state assembly polls, Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the February 25 presidential election, on Wednesday, rallied support for the party’s governorship candidate in Plateau State, Patrick Dakum. According to information sourced from Vanguard, it will interest you to note that Obi appreciated his supporters popularly known as 'Obidients' in Plateau state for turning out to vote for him massively during the presidential election.

Peter Obi took to his social media handle on Twitter and wrote, "I have just arrived in Jos to thank the OBIdients, and urge them to come out en-masse to support LP candidates. I use Patrick Dakum, our Governorship candidate as my point of contact in wishing the State Assembly candidates great success on 18th March. We remain committed to reclaiming our stolen mandate and turning our focus to true nation-building."

It should be recalled that during the presidential election, in Plateau State, Peter Ob of the Labour Party floored Bola Tinubu of the APC and Atiku Abubakar to win Plateau. The people of the state voted massively for him. Do you think that the governorship candidate of the Labour Party can ride on Peter Obi's popularity in the state to win the governorship election? Feel free to share your thoughts on this.
