Alhaja Sinatu Ojikutu, a former deputy governor of Lagos State under the Michael Otedola administration, talks to Daniel Ayantoye on how her relationship with President-elect Bola Tinubu soured and her worries about a Tinubu presidency.
Alhaja Sinatu Ojikutu said, "Some others tried to embarrass me by claiming that I had stolen some land. Everything was lined up for me to be taken to court and remanded in detention, which would have put a dent in my life and everything I stood for. It was only God who kept me from (going to) jail.
"I'll start by asking him what I did wrong since you need to understand the difficulties at hand and the genuine issues if you want to resolve them. I'll ask him to do so because I see his children and family, and I'll ask him to kindly explain how I've harmed him. We are not at war.
