The PDP is making efforts to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023. As the next General Elections is fast approaching below are the list of Four Political Gladiators the PDP might pair in the forthcoming Presidential Election scheduled for February 2023.
Atiku Abubakar/Peter Obi
The duo were the PDP Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates during the 2019 General Elections. Even though they lost the last general elections with over Three Million Votes, Atiku and Obi still maintain a high level of relevance in Nigeria's Politics. Atiku is an Household Name in the North, likewise Peter Obi in the South. Both men are highly experienced. Thus, the PDP might repeat the Atiku/Obi joint ticket in 2023.
Aminu Tambuwal/Nyesom Wike, Interestingly both PDP Chieftains are close Allies, Tambuwal has a large followership in the Northern Region, The Sokoto State Governor equally has a vast experience in Politics. Also, He hails from the North-West Geo-political Zone which has the highest number of voters in the North. However, the party Tambuwal with Nyesom Wike, the Incumbent Governor of Rivers State. He is well-qualified and competent for the Top Position.
