774,000 jobs: Selection committee member lists criteria, expected beneficiaries

An individual from the Federal Government Special Public Works Program (SPWP) in Ebonyi, Ann Agomeze, has clarified the measures for choice. 

Agomeze talked on Friday in Onicha Local Government at a partners meeting in Abakaliki. 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain said determination of recipients of the program will be founded on merit. 

She said Nigerians to profit are "the modest and defenseless individuals" of each neighborhood government across Nigeria. 

Agomeze affirmed that the council will draw in both talented and incompetent works. 

It will pay special mind to individuals with low instruction capabilities, for example, optional school leavers, prepared craftsmans just as graduates. 

Agomeze encouraged partners to guarantee that lone qualified individuals were prepared to participate in strengthening program. 

She told the that the activity must be "comprehensive and non political". 

"We should improve and should remember that the accomplishment of the program in our board lies on everybody of us. The accomplishment of the program will decide whether it will proceed. 

"It is our obligation to guarantee that the 1000 people expected to take part in the program in the neighborhood government are deliberately chosen to speak to classes of individuals required." 

The council part noticed that the enlistment was a piece of government techniques to pad the COVID-19 effect
