Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has spoken about his profession via his official twitter handle. He was given a recog award recently. He posted some pictures recently on his official twitter handle.
The governor revealed that the most sincere form of praise comes from one’s professional colleagues. He explained that his love for surveying is the reason he got his first degree in it.
He mentioned that surveying gave him the opportunity to traverse this country from Begema in Bayelsa to Monguno in Borno. He said he learnt a lot through surveying which his profession.
According to him, surveying is the hallmark of development and with humility. He mentioned that he accepted the recognition as a Honorary Fellow by the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors.
As he received the recognition award, he also said that he will continue to uphold the ethics, integrity and well-being of the profession wth all sense of responsibility.
Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is a Nigerian politician and the current Governor of Lagos State. He became governor under the platform of the All Progressives Congress after contesting.
