Just in: PDP Suspends Eight Members

The Plateau State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committee has suspended the total of eight members of the People Democratic party for floating a factional state’s Caretaker Committee.

This was made known to us in a statement on Saturday by the Committee’s head of media, Mr John Akans.

Mr John Akans disclosed that the Working Committee decided to suspend all the eight members during its emergency meeting which holds on Friday evening.

According to the Committee’s head of media, mr John Akan the suspension takes immediate effect.

The statement reads in part: “The Working Committee, an arm of the Plateau Caretaker Committee at its emergency meeting on Friday, 15th of May, at the party’s secretariat, reviewed the unfortunate incident that took place at the secretariat.

Some group of rascals mischievously constituted themselves into a caretaker committee, which is an affront to the national leadership of the party, under the leadership of Prince Uche Secondus.

The Plateau state leadership of the People Democratic party frowned at these decedents and therefore approved their immediate suspension of the eight members from the party immediately.

“Seven of the affected people are Nandom Penap Exodus, Godwin W. Bedir, Akims Mamot, Mrs Asabe Dareng, Nathaniel Dakas, Jacob Dashe, and Alhaji Kabiru Musa.”
