A renowned APC member, Millitary man and Nigerian Politician from Nasarawa state named Brigadier-General Ahmed Abdullahi Aboki, rtd recently died. He was a popular APC member, a former Military Governor of Kwara state, Minister of Communications, Director of Military Intelligence (DMI) Social Development, Youths and Sports.
President Muhammadu Buhari had recently reacted to the sad news of the passing of this APC stalwarts, he commiserated with his family and the people of his state of origin, Nasarawa state.
The president made some statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity named Garba Shehu, recognized and highlighted the contribution of Brigadier-General Ahmed Abdullahi Aboki to the success of All Progressive Congress party (APC) at both the national and state level.
The President in his statement made available to newsmen recapped on the contribution of the former DMI to the national development of Nigeria, and also urged the family members, Nigerian army and everyone mourning this APC member to take heart and consolation in the fact that this man served Nigeria to the best of his ability and also served his community well.

The statement read, "As the body of Gen. Aboki goes home today, the President prays that God will comfort the family and all those mourning the late military officer and seasoned politician, and grant his amiable and gentle soul Paradise."
