On the 27th of February, the Department of State Services released a memo explaining why they arrested Ganduje's media aide, Salihu Tanko Yakassai. According to them, they didn't arrest him because of his social media post which earlier led to his suspension by the state Governor but to investigate other matters outside his social media post.
You'll recall that Dawisu's father who was a politician back in the 70s was the one who continually told the media that his son was with the Department of State Services after rumors fly around that he was missing. Well, the rest is history, let's come back to the present.
A post by Dawisu on his twitter page is making people suspect that the young man might have fled the country. His post on twitter showed him at an airport boarding the popular Qatar airways although, his destination wasn't revealed via the post. He tagged the pictures "goodbye Naija".
Is Dawisu really scared of the Nigerian government or this is just another media scam? We still don't have information on that however, many are speculating the young man might be leaving the country.
