Ugwuanyi Exemplified One Nigeria–Miyetti Allah

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has lauded Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for his firm belief in the unity of Nigeria.

They disclosed this on Tuesday while briefing journalists at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Enugu Press Centre, during a farewell gathering in honour of the outgoing Governor.

National Director General (Admin), MACBAN, Alhaji Gidado Siddiki said their members enjoyed a robust relationship with the people of Enugu State in the last eight years courtesy of Ugwuanyi’s style of leadership.

Gunmen Kill 4 US Officials In Anambra

Four persons suspected to be officials of the United States of America Embassy in Nigeria were feared killed following attack in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Their mission to the riverine area of Anambra State was not known, but it was gathered that their convoy came under fire by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga has confirmed the incident.

Okowa Sends Supplementary Budget Of N71bn To Delta Assembly

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, yesterday, forwarded a supplementary appropriation bill of N71 billion to the state House of Assembly for legislative approval.

The bill was contained in a letter to the House, read by the Deputy Speaker, Ochor Ochor, who chaired the plenary.

The supplementary appropriation bill is made up of N5.6 billion for recurrent expenditure, and N65.5 billion for capital expenditure for the year ending December 2023.

Lady Remanded In Kirikiri Over Assault On Police In Lagos

A woman who attacked a police officer has been charged and remanded in Kirikiri jail in Ogombo, Ajah, Lagos state.

On Tuesday, May 16, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this on his Twitter account

Hundeyin posted a photo of a lady grabbing a police officer by the uniform;
