It has been over two months since the National leader of the All Progressive Congress party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu left the shore of Nigeria to the United Kingdom. The National leader of the APC party is fondly referred to as the "Jagaban". He played a significant role in the formation, of the APC party and the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 general election.

Many controversies followed the reason, why Bola Tinubu left the country until it was finally, uncovered that he underwent knee surgery in the United Kingdom. He has been in England ever since. After President Buhari visited the Jagada, many high and mighty in the Nigerian political cycle have also visited him. On 25 September 2021, a report went viral that Bola Tinubu had secretly, arrived in Nigeria. Recall that he has been away for more than two months. Former Senator Shehu Sani who represented Kaduna Central District, in the 8th Assembly, reacted to his alleged return. The former Senator, who recently defected to the PDP party, reacted on his social media handle.

Shehu Sani disclosed, that one of his friends bought a ticket to visit Tinubu in the UK, only to learn that he has returned to Nigeria. Shehu Sani in his post, on social media, wished him well. In a different development, the media aide of the National leader of APC has debunked the news of his return to Nigeria. According to a report, gathered on livetimes.ng, Tunde Rahman, the media adviser to Tinubu, disclosed that the APC leader is not back in the country.

He said the report that he is back is fake, although many people are eager to see him return to the country. He added that Bola Tinubu is still in the UK and has continued to receive many visitors. He also disclosed that when the leader is back in the country, his return will be announced.
