As President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of the Deputy Inspector-General, DIG, Usman Alkali Baba to be the Acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP, the Chief Executive Officer of Geotag Oil and Gas Limited and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Delta North Senatorial District, Chief Dr. (Amb) Gabriel Chukwuma Etaoghenevwegba Oyibode (JP) has joined the league of family members, friends and well wishers to congratulate the newly appointed Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.
Amb. Oyibode through his media assistant, Itodje Okiemute Godstime described the appointment of Usman Alkali as a well deserved one, stressing that the appointment depicts an act of commitment, diligence and outstanding performance in service.
Amb. Oyibode charges the new appointed Acting Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, as a matter of urgency to take palliative security measures in handling the challenges of insecurity in the country.
While urging him to pay rapt attention to the welfare of the police officers, Amb. Oyibode commended President Muhammadu Buhari for a well scrutinized and effective exercise that birthed the emergence of the new Acting Inspector General of the Nigeria Police Force.
