Governor Wike Nyesome Wike has expressed worry over the challenge of maintaining his numerous milestone projects after his exit from office.

He said, “I feel so bad that you built a structure as this, and those responsible for maintaining it make a mess of it when you come back in six months and you ask yourself why did I even have to build it.

John Cardinal Onaiyekan, the Bishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Abu­ja, on Thursday said that it does not make sense to swear in people into of­fice when there are issues to be settled in court.

Onaiyekan stated this while featur­ing on a Channels TV programme, Sunrise Daily.

Suspected Fulani militia, on Thursday evening, attacked and killed two people in Gora Bafai, Atyap Chiefdom in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Report also has it that one military personnel and a civilian were also injured and are presently in the hospital receiving treatment.

The President, Atyap Community Development Association, Dr Samuel Achie while narrating the incident, told Daily Post Nigeria that the invaders attacked the military personnel keeping surveillance in the village, leading to the loss of lives.

The military Thursday again warned those planning to scuttle the May 29 inauguration of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It said it was ready to forestall any threat to the inauguration.

Director, Defence Media Operation, Maj.-Gen. Musa Danmadami, told reporters in Abuja that the military had not seen reasons the inauguration would not take place.
