While reacting through his Facebook page, the governor of Oyo state has made it clear that the state is ready to build an Airforce base near the Airport in Ibadan.
According to Engineer Seyi Makinde, he said he is aware that the project is a big one and as such, he has prepared himself for the job ahead. His new post is also a means of notifying landowners and house owners around the airport in Ibadan.
One of the best things he said during the programme is that;
The Resident said will get affected by the project will be well and duly compensated.
Engineer Seyi Makinde said he has spoken to the Commissioner for lands, housing and urban development concerning the venue that will be used for the proposed Airforce base. He also made it known that the people who will sacrifice their lands for this project will be compensated.
