The Villa Planned The Celebration Of My Defeat, Because They Thought I Was A Threat - Ortom

A bold prediction that Nigeria would be in terrible shape after President Buhari's eight years in office was recently made by Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State. Governor Ortom shared his opinion that the root of government corruption stems from the presidency during an interview on Arise TV.

The candor of Governor Ortom's comments revealed how he views President Buhari's leadership. He stressed that corruption has plagued the current administration, causing serious consequences for the country. Governor Ortom expressed his concerns about the situation under President Buhari in a speech on Arise TV.

He remarked, quoting verbatim from Samuel Ortom's remarks, "I have hesitated to say anything about Peter Obi but now, he has crossed the line." "I am aware that we were bringing Nigeria from the bottom to the top in 2014 when some of us had the chance to work with President Goodluck Jonathan. But now that we are at the bottom, I must tell you the truth: the Villa planned the celebration of my defeat. Cash was used. Although corruption is discussed, it actually starts at the Villa. I am aware of the amount that Aso Rock donated to Benue State in order to ensure my defeat in the election. I contested for senate and they said that I lost, that was why I didn't bother to go to court. Initially my people pushed me to go to court but I said no, I have withdrawn I won't go to court, that shows you that I have the dear of God. Let me tell you something power belongs to God, and in doing it as it is captured at Ecclesiastes 9vs 11, the battle is not for the swift nor for the strong, nor the race for the fastest runner, nor success for men of wisdom, but everything comes by time and chance.
