No doubt, Saturday's presidential election will continue to be in the minds of every Nigerian out there, especially the controversies that trailed the outcome of the election with INEC declaring Tinubu as the president elect while the other two opposition parties, (Labour Party and PDP) would be challenging the result at court.
In all of that, one question that lots of people would like to know is the evidence the parties have, at and for the running mate to Peter Obi, Datti Baba-Ahmed, while on CNN with Zain Asher was asked if Labour Party is going to court, what evidence do they actually have even though they may been irregularities and inconsistentcy, what evidence actually changed the result?.
Datti Baba-Ahmed replied saying the direct transmission of results from the polling units as clearly and objectively provided for in the law and in the INEC guidelines were not followed. Next is, the collation of results from that ward unit all the way to the National did not make reference and didn't compare, confirm correctness and authenticity of figures with IREV as it was absent. With that, they are the key evidence.
Datti Baba-Ahmed went on to say what they noticed on Saturday was that, after people voted, everything else failed and fell into the hands of others besides the INEC and figures they have from their party agents. Watch the video here and drop your comments below.
