Obviously, forces within the Nigeria ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) are growing wider with tactics daily as they are bent to reducing the influence of the National Leader of the party and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the party.
News are popping up daily in regards to the might within the party. While it is obvious that the forces are gentle and silent but active within the party, many are camping under their tent.
In many times, this forces have not only confronted Tinubu himself but his loyalists too are not spared.
The height of their show is when some governors visited Tinubu's House in Lagos to solicit for Obaseki to win a second term Ticket under the party but Tinubu rejected their plea and requested that Obaseki return to Edo to test his popularity.
Obaseki was said to have being disqualified unjustly for Oshiomhole's (a strong loyalist of Tinubu) candidate, Ize Iyanmu to emerge.
While the camp of Tinubu were happy over the loss of Obaseki and regrouping to ensure Ize Iyanmu win the coming Edo State Governorship Election, the act angered the Abuja cabals who believed Obaseki suffered same fate as immediate past Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Screening within the party had been concluded again among Gubernatorial aspirants in Ondo with no disqualified aspirant.
The choice of Governor Akeredolu for primary was accepted by the extra ordinary caretaker committee that was appointed to take over from the dissolved NWC.
Ondo reconciliation committee had visited Ondo to settle rift between the incumbent governor, party leaders and party members.
They had also visited Tinubu who is expected to speak with his loyalists in Ondo State to sheath their sword.
The forces is likely to have taken over the happenstance in Ondo and they are likely to be more brutal if Akeredolu does not win the party ticket.
