President Muhammadu Buhari, today met with the President of Islamic Development Bank (IDB). President Buhari's media aide, Femi Adesina made this known today through his official Facebook page.
Islamic Development Bank is a multilateral development finance institution that is focused on Islamic finance. The headquarters of the bank is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
President Buhari, who is currently attending the Paris Peace Forum(PPF) in France explained why his administration is committed to providing infrastructure across Nigeria adding that he is expecting greater cooperation from the Islamic Development Bank.
The President of the bank, Dr. Mohammed Al-Jasser in his response said he is impressed with the policies of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration policies on infrastructure.
The Islamic bank boss however stated that Nigeria is pivotal to the financial institution and deserves all the help it can get.
The recent meeting between the two leaders in France will foster the relationship between Nigeria and the Islamic Development Bank.
The recent discussion will also promote development because Nigeria Is one of the stakeholders of the bank.
Since the President of the Islamic Bank has reassured Nigerians of his readiness to help the country where necessary, it means Nigerians will feel the impact of the financial institution soon
