2 Things Igwe of Mmaku In Igbo Land Said About Buhari

Igwe Maduabuchi Nevobasi, the Ezeani II of Mmaku Kingdom in Awgu LGA Enugu State, recently made some patriotic comments about President Buhari during his visit to presidential aide, Femi Adesina.

Here are two notable comments he made during his visit and what Nigerians should learn from his act of patriotism.

1. "We thank President Buhari for all he has done for Nigeria in six years"

Igwe Nevobasi via his statement, practically acknowledged the president for his immeasurable efforts towards the progress of the country for the past six years. Buhari, who took over power in 2015 has done well in the areas of Nigeria's economy and security situation. Despite the challenges and limited funds met by his administration, he still succeeded in bringing good tidings to Nigerians. Notably, from Igwe's expression of appreciation to Buhari, it is imperative for Nigerians to learn to appreciate the efforts of their president via putting an end to unpatriotic protests and lots more.

2. "We urge him not to relent in his efforts to keep the country together"

The Ezeani II of Mmaku Kingdom urged President Muhammadu Buhari to maintain his good works of promoting unity in the country. It is apparent that one of the major things kicking against the progress of the country is the destructive activities of separatist groups. The Igwe in his patriotic mindset, saw the need to encourage president Buhari to keep protecting the cooperate existence of Nigeria as a united country. This teaches a lesson of patriotism to Nigerians. Nigerians should learn to encourage their Leaders and keep supporting the unity of the nation.

If Nigerians can take note of these lessons and practice them, it will surely create room for remarkable progress, peace and unity in the country.
