You’re Enemies Of Your People If You Participate In 2023 Elections - Groups warn Southern Region

Source: Sahara Reporters

The Nigerian Indigenous National Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS) has asked Nigerian politicians in the southern and central belts not to run in the 2023 general election, and their practices are being suppressed by the current government.

The group called it "conditions beyond constitutional control - the revival of popular power" at a worldwide press conference on Saturday. Sade Odukoya of Ilana Omo Odua said the region's political class should not be forced to vote by the public under Nigeria's current 1999 constitution.

She disaproved the action of political leaders for failing to respect the request of the NINAS for consultations with the people having given them 30 days.

In this regard, NINAS is now informing the political traders of the southern and central belt of all parties in Nigeria that a decision by a party to move towards another general election in 2023 will not he having their support.

In the pursuit of self-defense through self-determination, NINAS have warned members from participating in the 2023 general election.
