Politics in Nigeria is gradually taking a different turn now, people are becoming more aware of happenings by the day. If some people fails to accept and embrace the truth that power, truly power belongs to the people on who governs them, then they may never attain the highest office in the land or may cease to exist. Since the race of the next Governor of Edo State began, many have been giving and sharing their views on on it, some are to the camp of APC's candidate Pst. Osagie Ize-Iyamu while others are on the side of the incumbent Governor, who was formally a member of APC but had a fallout, with some of the leaders of the party, His Excellency Gov. Godwin Obaseki.
A video has gone viral showing an elderly woman, sharing her opinion with a passerby who cared enough to listen to her, as she holds in her hand a poster showing the face of the incumbent Governor and his deputy, the elderly said Obaseki is GOD's sent and no devil can remove him in Edo State.
While eulogizing the incumbent Governor, saying he has done well, she took a swipe at the immediate past Governor, Mr. Adams Oshiomole and even made a mockery song of him "Oshiomole pull over... Eh pull over", she said look at the name of the Governor, Godwin "GOD don win" already and there's nothing anybody can do about it in Jesus name, she says.
She said Adams Oshiomole is still owing her, her pension. That the highest court of the land has retired him, he needs to go his house and bury his head in shame as there is nothing he can do to Obaseki. She said in Jesus name Obaseki would win because he's destined to win Edo State, for the good job that he has done.
In accordance with Section 30 of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended), the Notice of the Edo State Governorship Election has now been pasted at the Edo State office of the Commission. The election comes up on 19th September 2020.
