The Federal High Court hearing which was first adjourned to July 20th, 2020 has been adjourned again till September 29th, 2020 and this has caused many Imolites to be left in suspense because they were eager to hear the final judgement today, only for the case to be adjourned.
The case between Mr. Okereke Kingdom, who was the RAP's (The Reform and Advancement Party) governorship candidate for the Imo state 2019 elections and Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodinma has been further adjourned till September 29th 2020.
Recently Mr. Okere Kingdom informed the court that he filed an application asking the court interpretation the Supreme Court's judgement. He explained that Hope Uzodinma was illegally occupying the the seat as Imo state's Governor and this was a matter of constitutional necessity.
Reports have it that Honourable Emeka Ihedioha who was sacked from office by the Supreme court, in cooperation with his polical party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has joined in the fight with a new appeal, all in a bid to remove Governor Hope Uzodinma.
What will be the fate of Uzodinma?
Do you think Ihedioha is coming back as Governor?
