House Of Assembly Member Slaps Member Of His Constituency In Kogi State.

A member of kogi state house of Assembly honorable Muktar Bajah have been reported to have engage in fight and slap a member of his constituency.


Mr Muktar Bajeh is the honorable house of Assembly member representing Okehi local government area of Kogi State. It was learnt that Mr Bajeh angrily react to the situation and as leader that he is, such could never be expected of him. 


In what could be described as an unfortunate event, it was said that Hon. Muktar visited Ihima, part of Okehi LGA and the constituency that he representative. While he was still in Ihima a masquerade approached him and requested money from him. It was said that he never respond to the masquerade nor give the masquerade requested, and this is what annoyed one the followers of the masquerade who happens to be the Honorable's constituent as well.


It was confirmed that this follower of the masquerade who was slapped by the Honorable, disrespectfully give an utterance after Mr Muktar didn't give their masquerade money, the boy was reported to have said "forget about him (Muktar) and let's go, if he can't give our masquerade money". 


This is the statement that was said to arise the fight and the Honorable repeatedly slapped the boy in front of his policemen, when the policemen could have done their job maybe by arresting the boy to have insulted their boss.


Many people have reacted to this issues as many were saying that the honorable has no right to beat up any member of his constituency, some are saying the boy is young a little to be his brother therefore he is right to correct him for his disrespectful attitude.
