'Equity And Justice Will End Insecurity In The SouthEast' - Chiwetelu Agu Tells Buhari

Veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetelu Agu has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to deliver justice and equity as a means of ending the menace of the unknown gunmen in the Southeastern region of the country.

Agu, who was recently arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigerian Army, said the 'quota system' being practiced in the country is one of the main reasons why there is a security crisis in the Southeast.

"The attack by gunmen in the Southeast is very simple to solve. It is because you are encouraging them that it is still subsisting. Let's stop all acts of injustice and inequity. Do you know how many Nigerians have left the country with their ingenuity because the country was made inconvenient for them?

So whether is unknown gunmen or 'ungun known men', trace their (IPOB) involvement in any crime, then deal with it. But don't be partial. The parameters you used in the North should also be used in the South, East, West. So, people would begin to see you as being human, fair, and just", he said.
