The opposition party has already started dancing to the tune as the party zoned the chairmanship position of the party to the northern part of the country. If the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) comes from the northern part of the country, the presidential candidate of the party will likely come from the southern part of the country. For the ruling party as well, some members of the party have been projecting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the southwestern part of the country to be the flag bearer of the party.
