2 Northerners Who May Become President After The Northern Governors Opposed Presidential Zoning

As the 2023 presidential election keeps getting closer day by day, many politicians across the country have been showing their ambitions to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

Furthermore, some southern groups, such as Ohanaeze, Afenifere, and the southern governors, have stated that the presidency of 2023 should be shifted to their region for the sake of equity.

However, many Northern elites kicked against it, and the Northern governors also backed them up with the claim that the zoning presidency is unconstitutional during their meeting yesterday.

Moreover, if northerners truly intend to continue ruling Nigeria in 2023, these are the two politicians who could succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, who will finish his eight-year term.

Atiku Abubakar:

Undoubtably, Atiku Abubakar is one of the giant politicians in Nigeria that cannot be snubbed, and the fact that he has many fans in both the northern and the southern parts of the country may seriously pave the way for him.

This former Vice President and the former Governor of Adamawa State is one of the Northerners that promise to restructure Nigeria if he becomes president, which may motivate millions of Nigerians

Atiku is also an experienced politician who has a lot to offer Nigerians if he is lucky enough to become president.

Yahaya Bello.

Yahaya Bello might be the lucky man in 2023, as the current Governor of Kogi State has publicly declared his presidential ambitions for 2023 many times.

Apart from the fact that age is on his side, this man has also proved that he may boost the falling economy, and restore peace to our society, just as he has successfully done in the state he is currently ruling.

Not only that, but the fact that Yahay Bello is from the North Central region of Nigeria may pave the way for him because this region has not produced a president since over 20 years ago.
