Cameroon Commends Buhari Over Kanu's Re-Arrest.

President of Cameroon, Paul Biya has commended Nigeria over the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Biya’s remark was disclosed by his Special Envoy, Felix Mbayu during a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House. A statement by Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina quoted Mbayu as saying the Envoy “congratulated Nigeria on the recent arrest and repatriation of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) through the collaboration of national security agencies and INTERPOL.”

Delta State Moves To Regulate Grazing.

A bill for the regulation of Livestock Grazing, Rearing and Marketing and To Prohibit Open Grazing and Related Matters passed its first reading on the floor of the Delta State House of Assembly on Tuesday.

The motion was moved by Oghenerume Yakubu, a member representing Ughelli South Constituency, was seconded by Christopher Ochor, the Deputy Speaker of the House.

Consequently, the Speaker of the House, Sheriff Oborevwori, slated Wednesday, 14th July 2021 for the second reading of the bill.

Senate Okays 20 Years Jail For Snatching Ballot Materials.

The Senate on Tuesday passed a bill seeking to establish the Electoral Offences Commission and okayed 20-year jail term for candidates caught snatching ballot materials.
