
Another controversy has rocked the newly introduced Southwest Regional Security service known as Amotekun.
The aim of this is for the Protection of Lives and Properties of People in the Southwest region of Nigeria. A lot of bodies have criticized this movement made by Southwest Governors.
Many have asked to step down the plan, including the Federal Government calling it illegal. There's been response from the Governors and they are ready to go to court.
Just now, the Miyetti Allah who constitute of Herdsmen has threatened to freeze out Southwest Region during the 2023 Presidential Election if they refuse to stop the plan.
The Spokesman of the group Alhassan Saleh has warned the Governors about Amotekun and made it clear to them that if they don't step down the plans, the region shouldn't expect anything from the 2023 Presidential Election.
This has brought a lot of criticism on Social Media as Nigerians react, here are the reactions.
