Gov Wike's Special Adviser Emerges Gokana LGA Campaign Chairman in the 2021 Rivers LGA Elections

According to reports, one of Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike's Special Adviser, Honourable Austin Lenyie Sor, has today being Sunday 14th March 2021, emerged the new Campaign Council Chairman in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, the Southern part of Nigeria.

This is following the forthcoming 2021 Rivers Local Government Council Chairmen elections which has been scheduled to hold on the 17th April 2021, across the twenty three Local Government Areas in the State. The Chairmanship and Councillorship elections is for only the People's Democratic Party (PDP), in the State.

The Campaign Council Committee was officially inaugurated by Hon Dr. Fred Kpakol, the current Commissioner for Agriculture Rivers State and Former Commissioner for Finance in Gov Nysom Wike's first tenure. And the meeting was presided by Hon Kenneth Kobani, former Secretary to the Rivers State Government in Gov Wike's first tenure. These are the top Leaders of the party in the LGA.

The Campaign Committee was inaugurated for the forthcoming election, for them to plan ahead and do the necessary arrangements for the party. This is a big win for the Special Adviser to the Governor, Hon Austin Lenyie Sor, congratulations to him. The inauguration meeting was held at the LGA Council Secretariat and it was attended by top members of the Party in the LGA.
